An AI answer has room for three or four names
An AI answer isn't a results page with room for everyone. Ask for a good HVAC company and an AI model usually names three to five. Every name on that list is a name that isn't yours.
So your visibility only means something next to your competitors'. 30% can be strong in a fragmented market and weak if one competitor shows up in 70% of answers. And in AI, your competitors aren't always who you think. Sometimes an AI model names a national chain or a business you've never heard of.
That's why GeoReady tracks your competitors with the same prompts, on the same AI models, on the same days as you—and flags new names the moment they show up in answers.
“Your visibility only matters next to the businesses AI names instead of you.
Pick your competitors—and how we recognize them
Add competitors at setup or anytime later. For each one, you set a name, aliases (abbreviations, former names) and domains. Those decide how we recognize the business in AI answers, even when an AI model spells the name slightly differently or only mentions the domain.
Every competitor gets its own color, used across all charts. Don't want to track a business anymore? Stop tracking it and its history stays. Deleting also erases the tracking history.
Add at least two competitors for a meaningful share of voice. With one, a ratio says very little. With three to five, you see how the market is really split.
- Add a competitor with name, aliases and domains
- Pick a color per competitor for every chart
- Stop tracking without losing history
- Edit aliases when an AI model names a business differently than expected
New names in the answers, tracked in one click
On every measurement, we look for businesses in the answers that you don't track yet. They show up on the overview under New businesses in answers and on the competitors page, with their visibility, position and the number of prompts they appear in.
You find competitors that weren't on your radar: a national chain suddenly showing up in AI answers for your area, or a smaller specialist doing well on Perplexity. Those are often the businesses you can learn the most from.
Start tracking one in a single click. From then on, it counts toward share of voice, appears on the leaderboard and in the performance matrix, and gets its own line in your charts.

How mentions are split across your market
Share of voice is your number of mentions divided by all mentions of all tracked businesses combined. It always adds up to 100% across businesses. Visibility tells you how often you show up; share of voice tells you how big your slice of the pie is.
The Share of voice over time chart shows your daily share next to each competitor's. A competitor slowly gaining ground shows up here weeks before it hits your own visibility.
Above the numbers, GeoReady sums it up in plain English: who's ahead of you on share of voice and which AI model they win on most, and which competitor is growing fastest. No need to decode the chart yourself.
- Track your daily share of voice next to every tracked competitor
- Read in one sentence who's ahead of you and which AI model they win on
- See which competitor is growing fastest compared to the previous period
- Filter by AI model and choose 7, 30 or 90 days
Businesses × AI models: see who wins where at a glance
The performance matrix lists every business in rows and every AI model in columns. Each cell shows that business's visibility on that model. The more intense the color, the more often it's mentioned. Red means zero mentions.
You spot patterns that averages hide. Maybe Summit Climate Co. wins mostly on Gemini and Perplexity, while you're stronger on ChatGPT. Then you know the gap is in the sources those models rely on, not in your business itself.
A red cell on your own row is a clear assignment: on that AI model, you don't exist yet. A red cell on a competitor's row is an opening.

Everyone on the same scale: the GeoReady score
The leaderboard ranks every tracked business by GeoReady score, measured with the same prompts on the same AI models. For each business, you see visibility, share of voice, average position, sentiment, how many prompts it appears in and the change from the previous period.
Because everyone is tracked on the same questions on the same days, the comparison is fair. You see not just who gets mentioned more, but who ranks higher in the answer and who's described more positively.
The leaderboard is where the real question starts: what is number one doing differently? You'll find the answer in chats and sources, and it becomes an action. The sources where your competitor is listed and you're not are your first candidates.

Five on Pro, ten on Growth, fifteen on Scale. You always see detected businesses.
What if AI mentions a business that isn't a competitor?+
You only track it if you choose to. Share of voice counts the businesses you track; you can stop tracking one later and its history is kept.
